At the A&E

I would be getting more travel research/writing done if my bar job didn’t lead me to the A&E in the middle of the night. After all my bitchin’ about the English health system I gotta say that I got seen to pretty quickly and the nurse was nice and actually had a personality…but lets see if her decision to give me paper stitches as opposed to real ones was the right one before I start praising the NHS hah!
And yes, I realize the injury looks like a paper cut but it did bleed loads but my dear friend/manager Erin did an amazing job of disinfecting me with staff vodka (free of charge wooo!) and taping me up with the first aid kit’s last band aid and used bandage so by the time we got to the hospital it looked harmless.
